Thylogale's Walking Tracks

The walking tracks at Thylogale are quite extensive with a series of foot bridges over the various streams. There are steps built into the banks of the creeks allowing for easy access to the creek crossings. 

All the tracks have been constructed with a high degree of symphony towards the forest and its denizens.

 

The walking tracks begin at the house and meander through the rainforest forming a large loop.

 

They start in pioneer rainforest....

 

....pass through old mature rainforest.......

 

.....with huge buttress roots.....

 

.......secretive wildlife.......

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

........towering cycads....

Fruiting Lepidozamia hopeii - Zamia Palm or Hope's Cycad. 
 About as tall as they get.

........ancient motionless dragons.........
