Using ICT In the LOTE Classroom
With the rapid rise in the use of ICT in schools, many LOTE teachers feel left out or overwhelmed by what is happening technologically. I hope to help and encourage you to embrace these new technologies and use them where possible.
Usual scenario for LOTE teachers is to be put in a classroom out the back of the school or share a classroom with the Librarian, special needs teacher or art room. Often they have ineffectually working computers, no new hardware and no training on how to use them anyway.
In this area I will post suggestions on how to use ICT in the LOTE classroom, latest Professional Development notes and ideas on how to supplement you Indonesian program.
