Indonesian Teachers Network Professional Development Day

The Indonesian Teachers Network project for 1999 is a professional development day for teachers of Indonesia and other LOTE language.

The proposed day will consist of a Games workshop in the morning with renowned presenter Margaret Gearon who will demonstate many different games teachers can use in the classroom to facilitate learning.  This promises to be a very useful and much needed session to help make learning languages fun.

The afternoon session will be held in the Foster Primary School computer room with Wendie and Di Walker who will take us through Learning Technologies and the LOTE classroom.  Here participants will have the opportunity to explore current language computer software, and also get valuable guidance in using the Internet in the classroom.  Both Wendie & Di teach computers extensively and Wendie is an experienced Indonesian LOTE teacher.
